Refer a Friend Terms

These are the terms for the Captira Refer a Friend program. By creating or sharing a referral link, you accept the terms below, which explain how the program works and how rewards are earned.

1. Who can take part

   • The program is open to existing Captira Bail account holders with an active account in good standing.
   • It covers Captira Bail accounts only, and not any other Captira product.
   • You can share your referral link with any bail agency, bail agent, or anyone else who could open a Captira Bail account.
   • You can't refer yourself, or any account you already own or run.

2. Making a referral

   • A referral happens when someone new signs up through your referral link and completes payment setup to activate their account.
   • Their account is linked to your referral handle when they sign up. We use the first referral handle captured for an account.
   • The signup needs to come through your link. Signups made another way, or with a coupon applied, won't be counted.

3. When you earn a reward

   • A referral qualifies once the new account has stayed a paying customer into its second month.
   • If the account cancels before reaching its second month, the referral doesn't qualify and no reward is due.
   • Once a referral qualifies, the reward is yours to keep, even if that account cancels later on.
   • You can earn a reward only once per account. If a customer cancels and signs up again, that doesn't count as a new referral.

4. Your reward

   • Each qualifying referral earns you one $75 reward, as a single one-time reward per account.
   • You can pick your reward as a Starbucks, Target, or Amazon gift card.
   • Rewards go out once a referral has qualified, not at signup.
   • Your reward arrives as an eVoucher by email, sent to the address on your Captira account, so it helps to keep that address up to date.
   • Rewards have no cash value and can't be swapped for cash.

5. Keeping it fair

   • We may check that a referral is genuine before sending a reward.
   • We may hold back, delay, or cancel a reward if it looks like the program is being misused, for example through self-referrals or duplicate signups.

6. Changes to the program

   • We may change, pause, or end the Refer a Friend program at any time.
   • Any changes won't affect referrals that have already qualified.

This Refer a Friend program is part of Captira's Terms of Service, and may be changed, paused, or ended at any time.
