No, an account is not necessary to check-in. Just enable location settings and upload your photo to continue.

3. Go back to your check-in link and refresh the page
1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
2. Make sure that Location Services is on.
3. Scroll down to find Safari or your default browser.
4. Tap the app and select one of these options:
• While Using the App, or
5. Go back to your check-in link and refresh the page
You must use the most recent link sent by your agency to check-in. If location is on and you are using the most recent link and are still unable to check-in, please call your agency with details.
